What is a Marketing Siege?
Marketing – the process or technique of promoting, selling, and distributing a product or service.
Siege – a persistent or serious attack.
A marketing siege is a way of marketing that no matter where someone goes, no matter what they do, they are confronted with the product or services that you are wanting to sell them.
Prime examples of this are the iPhone, Google, Pepsi and Microsoft. Each in their own way have put you under siege. The iPhone is ubiquitous – the commercials are shown all of the time, they are now in Best Buy stores and advertised throughout major publications, online they have invaded everything. Google you simply cannot get away from, period. Pepsi and Microsoft are seen everywhere, even product placement on television shows and movies.
They make products that are what you need to have. You cannot survive without them. And because your senses have been beaten down hearing about them and seeing them everywhere, you too must have some of that.
The purpose of this site is to help you create your own marketing siege. You should be excited about what you are selling or promoting. You must make yourself the evangelist for your product, and you must make sure the masses know that what you have is what they too must have.
You must be serious in your method and persistent in your attack.
